Version 1.0 · Effective: August 31, 2026
This table sets out the fees applicable on Jersium, as referenced in Jersium's Terms & Conditions. Adverse fee changes are announced at least 15 days in advance in accordance with the Terms of Service. The fee rules — when fees are earned, refunded, or retained — are set out in the Seller Terms; this table states the amounts.
Jersium charges Buyers no marketplace fee. Buyers pay the Product price, shipping, applicable taxes, and any optional services they select — nothing else.
1. Seller fees (all marketplace sales)
Fee base: the total amount paid by the Buyer for the Seller Order — Product price, Buyer-paid shipping, any paid extras, and any sales tax charged at checkout. Percentage fees are assessed by item line; the minimum fee is per Seller Order.
| Fee | Applies to | Rate / amount |
|---|---|---|
| Platform Intermediation Fee (PIF) | All Sellers, all regions | 4.48% of fee base |
| Payment Processing Fee (PPF) | All Sellers — Orders paid in EU/UK | 2.50% of fee base |
| Payment Processing Fee (PPF) | All Sellers — Orders paid in US | 3.50% of fee base |
| Total seller fee | EU/UK Orders | 6.98% |
| Total seller fee | US Orders | 7.98% |
| Minimum seller fee | All Sellers, per Seller Order | €0.99 / £0.99 / $0.99 |
2. Fee outcomes by transaction result
Full rules: Seller Terms. Amounts may be calculated, reserved, or withheld earlier in the transaction, but Seller fees become earned only when the transaction reaches its final outcome.
| Final transaction outcome | PIF | PPF |
|---|---|---|
| Order completed, including after any partial refund | Charged and earned | Charged and earned |
| Cancelled before shipment | Not charged | Not charged |
| Full post-shipment unwind — including withdrawal, non-delivery cancellation, completed full return, or upheld Buyer Protection claim returning 100% of the Product price through Jersium | Not charged / released | Retained and charged, unless an exception below applies |
| Cancellation caused by Jersium platform failure | Not charged | Not charged |
| Cancellation resulting from a prohibited item or Seller fraud | Charged and earned | Charged and earned |
| Chargeback lost after transaction completion | Previously earned fee remains earned | Previously earned fee remains earned |
For multi-item Seller Orders, a fully returned item line does not affect the PIF treatment of other completed item lines. The Seller-Order minimum is applied as described in section 1.
3. VAT on fees and invoicing (EU and UK)
VAT applies to Jersium's fees for EU and UK Sellers. Fees charged to US Sellers are outside the scope of EU and UK VAT.
For Commercial Sellers, fees are stated net of VAT. VAT is charged at the applicable rate per the relevant member state (via OSS where applicable) or the UK, unless the reverse-charge procedure applies — provide a valid EU or UK VAT number in seller setup for reverse-charge invoicing, or, for UK businesses not required to register for VAT, complete the business-status declaration in seller setup. Without a valid VAT number, VAT is generally charged at the applicable rate.
For Private Sellers, fees are stated gross, inclusive of applicable VAT. Fee treatment follows the Seller type strictly: a Commercial Seller without a valid VAT number is invoiced net plus VAT at the applicable rate.
Fee invoices are issued electronically; corrective invoices are issued where a charged fee is later changed or otherwise requires correction, regardless of whether the Seller is B2B or B2C; Polish B2B fee invoices are issued via KSeF. Fees and pass-through reimbursements appear on separate invoice lines.
4. Chargebacks and payment disputes
| Item | Standard application | Amount | VAT treatment |
|---|---|---|---|
| Chargeback cost recovery | Commercial Sellers, per lost chargeback | €20.00 / £20.00 / $20.00 — the payment provider's base chargeback/dispute cost, passed through at its original value | Outside the scope of VAT (cost pass-through, separate invoice line) |
| Disputed amount recovery | Commercial Sellers | Up to 100% of the charged-back transaction amount | Outside the scope of VAT |
Where the payment provider confirms that fraud liability shifted to the card issuer for the specific transaction, no recovery is made for that chargeback. Any disputed amount or chargeback cost recoverable from a Seller is governed by this Fee Table and the Seller Terms. Separate recovery may apply where amounts arise from Seller fraud, abuse, misrepresentation, or another breach of the Platform Policies.
5. E-VER verification service (Buyers/Users)
| Service | Amount | Tax treatment |
|---|---|---|
| E-VER base request (per item) | €2.49 / £2.19 / $2.49 | EUR/GBP: gross (VAT-inclusive) · USD: plus applicable sales tax at checkout |
E-VER options, extras, voucher redemption, and outcome-dependent fee or voucher treatment are shown in the E-VER flow and governed by the Digital Services Terms.
6. Other charges
Shipping is set by the Seller and shown at checkout. Sales extras (name/number print, patch application) are priced by the Seller and shown before purchase. Return shipping responsibility depends on the return type and is stated in the Buyer Terms & Buyer Protection Policy and on the listing. Customs or import charges, where applicable, are stated at checkout or borne per the Marketplace Terms. Jersium Store Items and digital products are priced at checkout under the Digital Services Terms and Digital Rewards Terms.
